“Cordyceps is a rare type of funguar which will infect a beastkin host, such as a bear, taking control of its body and mind in the process. As long as the host is alive, the funguar can drain the host's nutrients, giving the seedkin incentive to see that the host continues to feed. In the event that the host’s life is terminated, cordyceps will produce fruiting bodies that emerge from the host’s head, releasing countless spores into the air upon rupture.
