Lore
"We were all children, once—children listening, starry-eyed, to tales of princesses and seneschals."
Aldiytha Thorne is the eldest daughter of the Thornes, descended from the very sultan who made a miller girl a princess so long ago. While the Thorne family may have abdicated the throne of Ul'dah, they yet have a reputation to uphold, and few could claim to love Little Ladies' Day so much as twenty-two-year-old Aldiytha. Despite her frail constitution, she ever strives to bring joy to the people of the sultanate—a pure-hearted endeavor that, in her case, appears to be as good for the body as it is for the spirit.
