Enochian is a trait unlocked by questing at level 56. It is available for Black Mage.

Notes

  • In Occult Crescent Occult Crescent, this trait will increase damage from magical phantom job actions such as   Occult Comet. The large percentage increase in magic damage provided by Enochian makes black mage by far the strongest user of magical phantom job attacks among the casters.

History

  • Patch 7.0 (2024-07-02): The effect "Upon successfully landing Fire II while under the effect of Astral Fire, grants Enhanced Flare" has been removed.
  • Patch 6.28 (2022-10-31): Improvement to Enochian's magic damage increase has been changed from 20% to 21%.
  • Patch 6.0 (2021-12-07):
    • Action category has been changed from ability to trait.
    • Now increases damage dealt by 5% while under the effect of Astral Fire or Umbral Ice.
    • Upon successfully landing Fire II while under the effect of Astral Fire, grants Enhanced Flare. Enhanced Flare effect ends if Astral Fire is lost.
  • Patch 5.0 (2019-07-02):
    • Increase to magic damage dealt has been changed from 10% to 15% upon learning the   Enhanced Enochian II trait.
    • Effect now also allows the casting of Despair and Umbral Soul.
    • Maximum stacks of Polyglot has been increased from 1 to 2 upon learning the   Enhanced Polyglot trait.
  • Patch 4.0 (2017-06-20):
    • Duration has been removed.
    • The effect is now canceled if Astral Fire or Umbral Ice end.
  • Patch 3.05 (2015-07-21): Reusing the action Enochian while still under its effect will now reset the timer to 30 seconds.
  • Patch 3.0 (2015-06-23): Added as an ability with the original description: "Increases magic damage dealt by 5%. Also allows the casting of Blizzard IV and Fire IV. Recast: 60s."
