Cunning

Cunning is a Racing Chocobo Stat that affects how effectively a chocobo can traverse rough terrain, such as submerged track or steep uphill inclines.

Rough terrain causes a chocobo to slow down, and makes them much more susceptible to entering the Lathered state. A higher Cunning stat lessens both of these detrimental effects.

The areas that could be considered rough terrain vary by track, with Sagolii Road generally having the fewest rough patches - meaning Cunning is less helpful there.
