Guide

Tiamat Clone's arena is a large square, the boss always stays behind the north edge. All abilities inflict Vulnerability Up. If an add makes contact with a player, it deals damage and also inflicts Vulnerability Up.

Creature of Darkness: Tiamat Clone summons adds at the front of the arena that move to the back, there are two open spaces.

Dark Wyrmtail: Late telegraphed line AoE down the middle of the arena. Spawns adds in the centre of the arena that move to the left and right edges, alternating directions.

Dark Wyrmwing: 2 late telegraphed line AoEs on the left and right edges of the arena. Spawns adds on each edge that move to the opposite edge.

Dark Megaflare: 4 sets of telegraphed AoE puddles covering the entire arena with random safe spots. Some puddles spawn adds that move toward random players.

Whei Morn: Chasing puddle AoE targeting 1 player. The initial hit is telegraphed, with 4 subsequent hits chasing the target. Each hit spawns an add that moves toward a random player.

Lore

If you include the devastation wrought by her summoning of Bahamut, no wyrm has claimed more Allagan lives than Tiamat.

The vast plains of the southern continent were so littered with corpses that one could walk for malms without setting foot on the ground. While some could be identified, many more were charred masses of bone and gristle.

The prospect of cloning such a fierce entity was a daunting one, and I remember hearing that the researchers even made efforts to tone down their subject's innate savagery.

Tiamat was gifted with considerable skill at manipulating aether. I found the nature of her breath most fascinating. She could concentrate dark aether so intensely that it created aetheric bodies similar to familiars and sprites─something observed in no other dragon.

It seems they opted not to engineer these talents out of the clones. Whether that was due to the difficulty of doing so or because they hoped to use it to their own advantage, I cannot say...
