Guide

The arena is surrounded by an AoE that will instantly kill anyone who steps in it. The arena itself is a 6x6 grid of square tiles, which are important for some mechanics.

  • Dirty Nails: Telegraphed physical tankbuster.
  • Clawmarks: Spawns a clone at the north wall who will spawn a diagonal clawmark at four columns, leaving the furthest left two or furthest right two empty. It will then spawn an oppositely oriented clawmark on four other columns, leaving the opposite side safe. The clawmarks denote late telegraphed line AoEs (Lethal Nails) hitting the entire column and will resolve in the order the clawmarks spawn.
  • (Direction) Crosshatch: One of two different attack sets based on the cast name. Have no ground telegraphs.
    • Vertical Crosshatch: 90 degree conal cleaves hitting the front and rear of the boss, followed by cleaves hitting each flank.
    • Horizonal Crosshatch: 90 degree conal cleaves hitting the flanks of the boss, following by cleaves hitting the front and rear.
  • Skulking Orders: A large scratch on the floor will spawn at a cardinal. When the long cast bar fills, an untargetable clone of the boss will spawn on it and use a use a late telegraphed 90 degree conal cleave at the middle of the room.
  • The Grip of Poison: Magical party-wide damage and inflicts a 9-second bleeding.
  • Threefold Marks: Similar to Clawmarks, but will now spawn three sets of clawmarks, each set leaving one different random column safe. Each set will have clawmarks that are oriented differently, so observe which columns do not receive new clawmarks.
  • Skulking Orders (version 2): Each cardinal will contain a scratch mark left behind by a Crosshatch attack. Two random scratches will briefly flash, followed by the other two, indicating the order in which the clones will spawn and use their frontal cleave. If the glowing scratches are adjacent each other, the corner between them is safe. If the glowing scratches are opposite each other, the cardinals adjacent them are safe.
  • Manifold Marks: Spawns two clones at the wall on adjacent cardinals. Each will use two sets of Clawmarks, leaving four tiles safe per attack. The safe tiles will always form the corners of a 3x3 box.
