FFXIV Wiki, 2025 Patch Notes

  • Page creation scripts were fully rewritten, allowing us to create new pages with ease whenever new content is released!
  • New automation was created to update existing pages whenever new content is released
  • Infobox images were added for ALL gear, including accessories and weapons (now you can see what any weapon in game looks like, and new items images are added shortly after )
  • Hrothgar & Viera Hat Compatibility data was added for ALL hats
  • Adventurer Plate and Portrait Previewer
  • New, detailed patch pages covering not just a summary of the content, but showing all the new items as well (see: Patch 7.4!)
  • Image galleries added
  • Navboxes were reworked to make moving between similar pages clearer and easier
  • Quest lines were overhauled, making quests easier to find as they match up to in-game
  • Created detailed lists of EXP & seals rewarded for all Grand Company Supply and Provisioning Missions
  • FFXIV Wiki Discord was overhauled, making the Discord easier for people to utilize and communicate what is actively being worked on
  • New Community Resources page was created, making it easier to find helpful tools, information, etc. all in one place.
  • Covered content from patches 7.18 all the way up to 7.4
  • In-depth coverage of Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration
  • Updating of Alexander Savage raids
  • Detailed coverage of Pilgrim's Traverse, including enemy floor locations & images
  • Added Eorzea Collection links to all gear pages
  • Added EDB (Eorzea Database) links to all items that have them
  • Images for ALL chocobo bardings and chocobo colors!
  • Gear pages now list shared models if the item shares a model with another gear piece
  • Overhauled the to-do list (mainly tracked in Discord now, investigating new ways to make this easier to see on the wiki)
  • Added the stickyTOC gadget to see the table of contents of a page even when you scroll down (massive thanks to Minecraft Wiki for their help!)
  • Added an easy toggle for light & dark mode so even users not logged in can change modes.
