Converts Setsu, Getsu, and Ka into Kenki. Each Sen converted increases your Kenki Gauge by 10. Can only be executed if under the effect of at least one of the three statuses.
— In-game description
Hagakure is an action unlocked at level 68. It is available for Samurai.
Notes
- This action can be used to purposely slow a samurai's one-minute rotation to aid in aligning important actions within burst windows. This is done ahead of time by converting only Setsu with Yukikaze before any more Sen is generated.
- Filler GCDs in samurai rotations are less prevalent as of patch 7.05 for casual play styles, because Tsubame-gaeshi no longer has a cooldown and can be executed after every cast of Iaijutsu (with the exception of Higanbana). Hagakure nonetheless remains helpful for optimization purposes in high-end content.
- This action can also be used to convert all three Sen for a trash mob section after a boss, granting a use of Hissatsu: Kyuten and not being forced to execute Midare Setsugekka on a singular mob before using AoE actions.

Trivia
- Hagakure 葉隠(はがくれ)means "Hidden Blade" in an obsolete poetic way.
- Before the changes to Tsubame-gaeshi in patch 7.05, knowing how to align every cast of Midare Setsugekka every minute with Tsubame-gaeshi was important to samurai's damage output, as Tsubame-gaeshi could have only been executed immediately following an Iaijutsu. In the case that all three Sen were received before Tsubame-gaeshi came off of cooldown, the samurai would either do nothing for a few GCDs or execute Midare Setsugekka early, drifting usages of Tsubame-gaeshi. Hagakure, in addition to Enhanced Enpi granted by Hissatsu: Yaten would serve as "filler" GCDs to better help keep Tsubame-gaeshi off of cooldown, ideally without drifting or losing usages of it.
