“"I wish I knew what about me continues to attract these fiendish creatures."
A young Roegadyn fisherman from the village of Isari, Nayoshi is afflicted with a strange knack for reeling in monstrous sea life. Unsurprisingly, his fellow villagers considered this "talent" a troublesome curse, and urged him to take up a new, less life-threatening profession. For the distraught twenty-three-year-old, the choice came down to continuing his beloved fishing despite the risks, or walking away from the sea forever. It was through the intervention of an adventurer, however, that Nayoshi succeeded in turning his shortcoming into a windfall for his destitute settlement, with the fatty bombfish he pulls up now providing the oil required to revive the lucrative practice of torch fishing.
