Flavor Text
The apkallu, in the wild, violently regurgitates its latest pescatarian meal at predators as a defense mechanism. In blue magic trials, Flying Sardine has proven to be an equally effective deterrent even when the sardine in question is not entirely physical, reliably shocking adversaries into silence.

- Defeating Apkallu is the most reliable way of learning the spell.
Other Tips
- This is one of two blue mage spells that can interrupt, the other being Bad Breath.
- Flying Sardine's instant cast allows it to be used at a moment's notice, while Bad Breath has a 2 second cast with a variety of debuffs.
- Bad Breath is overall more-efficient for the spell slot, especially for tanks due to its Reprisal-like effect.
- This action is useful for tagging enemies (receiving enmity from enemies without defeating them) due to its long range and instant cast time.
