I have batch created Brass Ring of Crafting specifically to desynthsize for Fieldcraft Demimateria I. The drop rate is not particularly high, but I got 20 out of about 100 attempts, in my estimation. It's unclear whether or not having Spiritbond increases the chances, but I have desynthesized many item with Spiritbond, and I haven't noticed any increase in drop rate. It's also unclear what one needs to do to get higher level demimateria.
