Journal
* Ilberd is eager to resume the pursuit of Eline Roaille.

* Thanks to the Domans' watchful eyes, you have picked up Eline Roaille's trail once again. Rejoin Ilberd at Sweetbloom Pier in the East Shroud.

* With some help from Garlond Ironworks, the Alliance has managed to install communications-jamming devices around the city-states, ensuring that Eline Roaille will have no choice but to communicate with her accomplices in person. All that remains is to catch her in the act. Make for the Hawthorne Hut with Ilberd and Yugiri to pursue your quarry.

* You arrive at the Hawthorne Hut to find that Eline Roaille has already departed for the Bramble Patch. Rendezvous with Yugiri ahead of what promises to be the dramatic conclusion of your hunt.

* With the Domans' aid, you have apprehended Eline Roaille in the act of meeting her imperial contact. Her guilt is now surely beyond dispute. Speak with Yugiri to hear her thoughts on the mission.

* Yugiri promises to attend to the aftermath of your hunt, leaving you free to report your recent adventures to Minfilia, back at the Rising Stones.

* Minfilia is shocked to learn of Eline Roaille's arrest and the accusations that have been brought against her. Setting aside her dismay, she informs you that the Scions have made progress in their quest to gain entry into Iceheart's sanctum.
Accepting the quest
Ilberd: Our hunt leads us to the East Shroud, Scion. I suggest we follow Roaille's example and take the ferry from Westshore Pier.
Ilberd: You'll doubtless wish to make certain preparations. See to them while I go on ahead. I shall wait for you at Sweetbloom Pier.
-quest accepted

Speaking with Ilberd at Sweetbloom Pier
-cutscene start
Yugiri: This way, my friends.
Yugiri: Your quarry makes for the Hawthorne Hut.
Yugiri: If Roaille is truly the one we seek, we can expect that she means to make contact with her Garlean masters there.

Ilberd: An explanation is in order. You are no doubt aware that the Garleans have their own method of communicating over great distances.
Ilberd: Well, our ingenious friends at Garlond Ironworks have provided us with devices which disrupt these communications, and we have installed them around the city–states. In so doing, we have made it difficult for imperial agents to correspond with their masters.
Ilberd: Roaille would thus have no choice but to rendezvous with her imperial contact directly. Yet, as a well-known face in the Immortal Flames, she cannot move about Thanalan without being recognized. It would only be a matter of time before someone saw through her disguise.

> If the player is an Elezen
Ilberd: 'Tis for this reason, I believe, that she has chosen the Black Shroud for her clandestine meeting. This place is home to many of your kind, and the arrival of one more Elezen is not like to turn any heads.
> Otherwise
Ilberd: 'Tis for this reason, I believe, that she has chosen the Black Shroud for her clandestine meeting. The Elezen are a common sight here, and her comings and goings are not like to turn any heads.
---

Yugiri: As my scouts tell it, the Garleans have sent agents with a mind to destroy the devices and render such direct contact unnecessary. Fortunately, our shinobi have thus far been successful in rebuffing their efforts.

Ilberd: ...This is it. We need only make for Hawthorne's Hut and catch Roaille in the act.

-optional start
Ilberd: If Roaille was here, she is no more. We have no choice but to continue the pursuit.
-optional end

Speaking with Yugiri near the Hawthorne Hut
Yugiri: My people report that our quarry has departed for the Bramble Patch.

Ilberd: The Ivy returns to the gnarls whence she came... But perhaps it is all for the better.
Ilberd: To convict someone of her standing, we will require damning evidence against her. What could be better than to catch her in the act when she meets with her Garlean masters?

Yugiri: My countrymen and I shall lie in wait in the shadows. Tread warily, my friends.

Speaking with Yugiri at the Bramble Patch
-cutscene start
Yugiri: Just beyond, Roaille is in conversation with an individual clad in the manner of an adventurer. An imperial intermediary, no doubt.

Ilberd: This is it! With me!
Ilberd: Flame Marshal Eline Roaille! You are under arrest for treason and espionage!

Dubious Adventurer: You were followed, you bloody fool!
Dubious Adventurer: Damnation!

Eline Roaille: Hmph...

Ilberd: You are unarmed, my lady...and scarcely garbed for battle. But if you wish to fight...you are welcome to try.

Eline Roaille: What is the meaning of this, Captain? Would you arrest me for strolling in the Twelveswood? When last I looked, that was no crime─and neither was conversing with passing strangers.

Ilberd: You would feign ignorance, then? Very well.
Ilberd: If you do think of something to say, there will be plenty of time to say it later. Now, come quietly, or I shall make you wish you had.

Eline Roaille: I will offer you no struggle. After all, I have naught to hide.
-cutscene end

Speaking with Yugiri
Yugiri: Even a warrior of Roaille's renown could not have hoped to escape by force. Despite her claims, her surrender does not bespeak innocence, but an awareness that her position is untenable.
Yugiri: With the Ivy thus uprooted, it is to be hoped that the tendrils she entwined around the Immortal Flames will gradually wither and die.
Yugiri: Mayhap then the people of Ul'dah will have the Grand Company they deserve. But let us speak of the present. If I may ask, what will you do now, [Forename]?
Yugiri: ...So the Scions seek a way into Iceheart's sanctum.
Yugiri: Then I daresay you are eager to return to the Rising Stones. Pray do not let me keep you.
Yugiri: Fear not─my countrymen and I shall tend to the aftermath. You need not waste your talents here.

> If the player has unlocked NIN Ninja
Yugiri: And speaking of talents, you have been training in the art of the shinobi, have you not? The change in your bearing is quite evident─to me, at least. I look forward to seeing you in action. Till next time, my friend.
> Otherwise
Yugiri: And speaking of talents, have you considered training in the art of the shinobi? You have the aptitude for it, I believe, so please give it some thought. Till next time, my friend.
---

Optional dialogue in the Rising Stones
Tataru: Steady... Steady...!<br>Not bad, eh? With a little more practice, I could earn a fortune at the Ruby Road Exchange!
Y'shtola: Tataru has grown beyond childish fantasies of becoming a songstress. Now she aspires to be...to be a legendary street performer.
Papalymo: (She...she cannot seriously be considering it? Life as a street performer should be one's last resort, not their first!)

Higiri: Thancred's tales of Lady Yugiri almost beggar belief! MY heart is fair fit to burst from admiration!
F'lhaminn: Hah hah hah! A rousing tale of a comrade's valor! Truly, we are fortunate to count Lady Yugiri a friend.
Thancred: Yes, but— Higiri you're not—you're missing the point! The individual doesn't matter. It was a team effort, and I was the one who...who...

Yda: Mwahahaha! I could do this all day! A-L-L D-A-Y!
Hoary Boulder: Hoo! Hah! Uaaargh! I cannot...go on...much longer...!
Coultenet: Strength, Hoary! On your honor as a Scion, I forbid you to surrender!
Hozan: I must admit, this exercise of yours never fails to amuse me. While its movements appear comical, it does seem to be having the desired effect.
Doware: It's a battle of wills! A struggle for supremacy! Our fighting styles may differ, but this unyielding spirit is the same in warriors the world over!
Minfilia Warde@Minfilia: Charges of treason and espionage against Eline Roaille? I can scarce believe it...
Minfilia Warde@Minfilia: Could there not have been some manner of misunderstanding...?
Early on in the dungeon, there will be a room off the main path that contains a Bloody Memo (X:17.6, Y:8.5). The note will have a special quote that will give the color of the correct switch for later.

The party will soon encounter an open area containing several Giant Clams, which can only be damaged when they are open. These enemies will be accompanied by several weak Shade Seekers. Note that the clams do not need to be killed and can be ignored. Experienced parties will sometimes skip the clams for a faster run.

To summon the first boss, players must interact with one of the three coral formations (Red, Blue, or Green) in the room. Interacting with the incorrect switch will spawn a weak Cave Aurelia. In practice, many parties will ignore the Bloody Memo and will brute force the switches until finding the correct one. Interacting with the correct switch will reveal an Inconspicuous Switch. Pressing this switch will summon Chopper, the first boss. After defeating the boss, press the switch again to open a passage to the next section.

Defeat the enemies and fight Captain Madison, who will run away.

The next section consists of an open area containing several side rooms. Most parties will skip these. Defeat the enemies at the south part of the room and collect the Captain's Quarters Key from the Shallowscale Reaver. Use it to open the door to the Captain's Quarters, the southern room. Inside, defeat the lone Shallowtail Reaver and collect the Waverider Gate Key.

Return to the central room and go to the southwest exit. Defeat the two enemies and unlock the Waverider Gate.

The rest of the dungeon is straightforward. The party will fight Captain Madison again, proceed through a final room of enemies, and confront the last boss. Not all enemies in the final room need to be aggroed, only the ones in the main path.
Visiting the side rooms is required for the Mapping the Realm: Sastasha achievement. Players who wish to obtain this achievement should use Duty Support, communicate with their Duty Finder party that they would like to visit the side rooms, or run the dungeon solo with Unrestricted Party (unsyncing) settings when they are of sufficiently high level.
Chopper
Chopper is the first boss of Sastasha and it is a coeurl. Once in a while Chopper performs an AoE attack called "Charged Whisker" which inflicts paralysis Paralysis on all players around it. An orange circle will appear on the ground before it executes the attack. Get out of the circle as soon as possible.

Captain Madison
Players will need to defeat Captain Madison twice. In the first encounter, he will be accompanied by crew member adds. Kill them first and then focus on the boss until he runs away. In the second encounter, he will summon a pack of guard dogs once his HP has dropped to 50%. AoE the dogs down then attack the Captain until he flees.

Denn the Orcatoothed
Denn the Orcatoothed is the final boss of Sastasha. The boss room features 4 grates with bubbling water at each corner of the room. During the boss fight, adds will spawn from the bubbling water.

Players can interact with the grate when it is bubbling to prevent an add from spawning. To this extent, ranged DPS can position themselves to be in range to attack, while still able to quickly interact with the grates when they bubble. Should adds spawn, try to keep their numbers down to prevent the tank from being overwhelmed. If a caster is targeted by the adds, they should run to the tank so that the tank can remove hate while staying by the boss.

In practice, the grates and the adds they spawn are generally ignored, and all damage is focused on the boss.
Lore
A Secret Port Of Call
On the coastline of western La Nosces, carved out of a rocky cliff by the sea’s ceaseless thrashing, there weaves a natural network of caverns called the Sastasha Seagrot. Meaning “many shells” in the Sahagin tongue, its name harks back to its former purpose as the beast tribe's gathering grounds.

Rumor holds that, some fifty years past, the pirate king Mistbeard drove out the Sahagin inhabitants, whereupon he built docks for vessel repair and loading, quarters for his crew, and a tavern where they might rest after a hard day's plundering. This port thrived in secret until twenty-two years ago when Mistbeard abruptly vanished, leaving the facilities untended and in disrepair.

At around the time of the Calamity, the Sahagin, desiring a foothold for their conquest of La Noscea, bade their minions reclaim the area. Known as the Serpent Reavers, these villainous pirates came to terrorize the region, vexing Lominsan authorities to no end and earning the Seagrot considerable notoriety.

Denn the Greatoothed
A renowned warrior of the Sahagin, his path is an allusion to the orca's viciousness and the tenacity with which it paces it prey. Favoring strategy over strength, his was the mind behind the utilization of men to achieve Sahagin ends.

Return Of The Reavers
The dastardly Serpent Reavers were eventually vanquished at the hands of dauntless adventurers, after which the 4th Levy Yellowjackets were garrisoned in the Seagrot to maintain a security presence. Ere long, however, the soldiers found themselves overwhelmed by mysterious invaders whose appearance straddled that of man and monster.

So it was that adventurers again ventured into the caverns to deal with these abominations, who were discovered to be none other than members of the Serpent Reavers. Examining their remains, the aetherial researcher Ceana posited that the pirates' monstrous forms were the result of repeated exposure to their master Leviathan’s corrupting aether—a theory which has gone on to gain traction in academia.

Captain Madison
Formerly the navigator aboard a merchant vessel, Madison orchestrated his own disappearance some ten years ago in order to escape a prodigious gambling debt. Of his trail he left no trace until he reemerged as a member of the newly formed Serpent Reavers. Thriving, in the pirating trade, he swiftly climbed to the post of captain, but his failure to defend the Sastasha Seagrot earned him the ire of his Sahagin masters. For his punishment, he was given to Leviathan once more and transformed into a hideous fiend.

Raskovnik
* Acid Rain places several small AoE circles on all players
* Sweet Scent spawns Dravanian Hornets that deal no damage and slowly move towards the boss. Kill hornets before they reach the boss
* Raskovnik will mark a player and draw them in after a few moments, stunning them for 2s, then cast Flower Devour, a circular AoE attack. Hornets in range of Devour will give the boss a stacking damage increase
* Spit is a basic room-wide AoE to be healed through

Myath
* Razor Scales is a large cone AoE targeted at a random party member, move to avoid
* Primordial Roar does a small amount of damage to the entire party and spawns four blob enemies, two red Blood of the Mountains and two blue Rheum of the Mountains
* Myath leaps on to blobs and casts Mad Dash targeted at one party member. The color corresponds to the color of the blob that was just leaped on to.
** Red: The targeted player will receive a stack marker.
** Blue: The targeted player will receive a purple AoE telegraph and should stay away from others.
* The second time Primordial Roar is used, it will spawn an additional fifth blob, a large green Chyme of the Mountain. This will immediately begin to cast The Last Song which does very high damage to the entire party if it is not killed before the cast completes.

Tioman
* Abyssic Buster is a moderate damage frontal-cone. Tanks should keep the boss facing away from the party.
* Chaos Blast places a multidirectional arrangement of line AoE telegraphs at a random point in the room.
* Comet will spawn random AoE circles around the room and mark two non-tank party members with comet markers. After a few seconds, these markers disappear and a ground proximity marker is placed at the player's location, which shortly after does damage based on how close you are to that position. Marked players should move to the edge of the arena away from the tank, then as soon as the marker disappears run back to minimise the damage they take.
** Later in the fight, Comet will mark all three non-tank party members.
Wing Phase
* Becomes invincible at 50%, and Tioman's wings become two separate targets. Both wings needs to be attacked and destroyed to make her vulnerable again.
*Heavensfall is repeatedly cast during this phase, targeting a random player who will shortly after be hit with a weak unavoidable attack, along with a cluster of AoE markers at their location. Marked players should move away from the rest of the group and then move out of the AoE circles as soon as they appear.
* Dark Star is unavoidable damage to the entire party
* Once the wings are destroyed, the original fight mechanics resume.
Lore
The Promised Rest
The shadow of this towering giant ever fills over the Dravanian forelands. A colossal lode of crystal concealed beneath its rocky skin, the upper bulk of Sohm Al has torn free to become a majestic floating island. Though physically separate, a stream of aether chains the peak in place, and thus, along with its grounded base, is the landform in its entirety considered the highest mountain in all of Eorzea.

Since ancient times, the dragons have revered Sohm Al as a holy site and resting place. Indeed, the name itself means “promised rest,” for when a dragon senses that its end is near, it will seek out the mountain’s slopes, there to quietly await the approach of death. As such, mortal intrusion is unwelcome at best, and, as was the case with the Warrior of Lights ascent during the Dragonsong War, at worst draws the hostile attentions of Nidhogg’s Horde.

Tioman
The consort of the dread wyrm Nidhogg, Tioman guarded against intruders Upon the sacred mountain from her perch atop the eternal vigil Hess Af. Her death at the hands of the Warrior of Light is thought to have given even the mighty Nidhogg pause in his plans for vengeance.

Protecting The Holy Land
The fall of Nidhogg brought an end not only to the Dragonsong War, but also to the hierarchy of power that reigned upon Sohm Al. Bereft of its dreaded leader, the Horde scattered to the four winds, leaving the dragons' sacred grounds untended and unguarded. All manner of beastly intruders soon arrived, irresistibly drawn by the energies of bountiful crystal lodes. With none to quash this infestation, Sohm Al's paths became ever more wild and dangerous. And even as the mountain was being overrun, Vidofnir, white dragon of Hraesvelgr’s brood, was alerted to the stirrings of its volcanic core. She vowed to hunt down the pests without, but as her bulk was too great to enter the narrow passages within, this investigation she entrusted to the party of the Warrior of Light. That such a request might be made was proof that the rift betwixt man and dragon had already begun to mend.

Lava Scorpion
A creature of living lava, this baking nightmare rose in the pool of magma hidden within the heart of Sohm Al when the dragons were no longer present, kept the scorpion in check the ancient menace resurfaced and began agitating the mountain's volcanic core with its wild thrashing.
