[[File:Example of proposed blue tick on mounts table.png|600px|thumb|An example of how the proposed blue tick might look in context]]

In the interests of allowing the check mark to be easily distinguishable from the red cross ({{No|red}}) by colour-blind people, I'd like to propose that we change the default colour to blue.

Specifically, I'd like to use this image, which I just uploaded: [[File:Tick blue (proposed).png]]. It's based on the existing green tick ([[File:Tick green.png]]) but is much more easily distinguished by most colour-blind people.
What are people's thoughts? --[[User:Sophira|Sophira]] ([[User talk:Sophira|talk]]) 09:43, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
:Note that the mounts table as it currently stands on the [[Mounts]] page does *not* use the red cross, unlike in the example screenshot I uploaded. I believe that using the red cross instead of the grey cross would increase visibility in some cases, but it would heavily reduce visibility for most colour-blind people unless the default tick colour was changed, which is part of my motivation for making this proposal. --[[User:Sophira|Sophira]] ([[User talk:Sophira|talk]]) 09:50, 1 September 2022 (UTC)
Hi!
:Having any pages translated would be beneficial, including for the English wiki (since interlanguage links would link back to us, increasing traffic and furthering SEO). We would just need to 'link' both wikis initially using some sort of code, not sure how that all works. After that, it's simply a matter of placing <nowiki>[[fr:Hydaelyn]]</nowiki> on the [[Hydaelyn]] page, for example. In the interests of allowing the check mark to be easily distinguishable from the red cross ({{No|red}}) by colour-blind people, I'd like to propose that we change the default colour to blue.
== Adamantite Ore/Wyrm Obsidian icon confusion ==

Hi,

The same icon is being used for both the [[Adamantite Ore]] page and the [[Wyrm Obsidian]] page, despite them having different icons in game. The current icon reflects Wyrm Obsidian, whereas the old one is Adamantite Ore. I can see it was intentionally replaced, so I don't want to change anything, but if anyone could explain/fix what's happened here that would be appreciated!
:I replaced the adamantite ore icon with the correct one. - [[User:Dr Agon|Dr Agon]] ([[User talk:Dr Agon|talk]]) 16:24, 25 July 2024 (UTC)
== Page name spelling error ==

The page name for [[Punuitiy Crossing Orchestrion Roll]] is spelled incorrectly; the spelling in game is "Punutiy" (no ''i'' between the ''u'' and ''t''). I'm not sure how to change this, so if anyone knows how to fix that would be great :) Thank you!
: This has now been corrected. The name was actually misspelled in the game but it was fixed in a recent patch. - [[User:Dr Agon|Dr Agon]] ([[User talk:Dr Agon|talk]]) 17:41, 3 August 2024 (UTC)
== Music parameter for area infobox ==

Hello,

Would it be possible to add a music parameter for the [[Template:Area infobox]]? Something like how it looks on mount pages, e.g. [[Torgal (mount)]]. I often find myself searching for the music played in specific areas to farm/buy the Orchestrion Rolls, and I figure other people may be the same.
== {{gathering list}} and Mudstone ==

hi everyone! the Mudstone page https://ffxiv.consolegameswiki.com/wiki/Mudstone incorrectly lists the gathering node as a level 20 mineral deposit, when it should be a level 20 rocky outcrop, but the source code only says "gathering list" in curly brackets, how do we correct this error? thanks!
pretty self explanatory, your starting stats page is full of inaccuracies
[[Anima Weapons]] are the level 60 [[Relic Weapons]] for [[Heavensward]]. First released in [[patch 3.15]], players '''do not''' need to complete the level 50 [[Zodiac Weapon]] quest chains to unlock the [[Anima Weapons/Quest|Anima Weapon quest chain]]. Players who have obtained the [[Zodiac Zeta Weapons]] will be able to skip the first step of Anima Weapon quest chain. This advantage is not [[job]] specific. For example, if players have obtained the [[WAR]] Zeta weapon they will still be able to skip while doing the [[DRK]] anima weapon.

Compared to [[ARR]]'s [[Zodiac Weapon]]s, the [[Heavensward]] relic steps are heavily based on items you can buy with {{tomestone|Poetics}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]] and [[Grand Company]] {{Company seal}} [[Company Seal]]s. Players can spend excess currency in advance before starting this quest chain. '''However''', not ''all'' of the items are available for purchase before the quests have been started. After upgrading their Anima weapon to iLvl 230, players can buy [[Replica Anima Weapons|replica versions of past enhancement steps]] from the [[Restoration Node]] for [[glamour]].

'''Relic weapons from past expansions are not intended for combat use, but for cosmetic, [[achievements]], and collection purposes.''' Weapons of similar power, for the same player level, that are much more easily obtainable and are intended for character progression can be bought with {{tomestone|Poetics}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]].'''
You will need to acquire an {{item icon|Astral Nodule}} and an {{item icon|Umbral Nodule}} from [[Syndony]] in [[Mor Dhona]](x22,y5). There are two options for how to do so:
* '''Option 1''': Farm FATEs in each of the six Heavensward zones for crystals. You need one type of crystal from each zone. The drop rate is relatively high as of 2023: about one in three FATEs will drop a crystal, so the grind is not onerous.
** Collect a {{item icon|Luminous Wind Crystal}} from [[The Sea of Clouds]], a {{item icon|Luminous Fire Crystal}} from [[Azys Lla]], and a {{item icon|Luminous Lightning Crystal}} from [[The Churning Mists]] and turn in for an {{item icon|Astral Nodule}}.
** Collect a {{item icon|Luminous Ice Crystal}} from [[Coerthas Western Highlands]], a {{item icon|Luminous Earth Crystal}} from [[The Dravanian Forelands]], and a {{item icon|Luminous Water Crystal}} from [[The Dravanian Hinterlands]] and turn in for an {{item icon|Umbral Nodule}}.
* '''Option 2''': Turn in a [[Zodiac Zeta Weapons|Zodiac Zeta Weapon]] for an {{item icon|Astral Nodule}} and {{item icon|Umbral Nodule}}. '''This will cause you to lose the selected [[Zodiac Zeta Weapons|Zodiac Zeta Weapon]]!'''
** However, this will allow the player to purchase replicas of all completed [[Zodiac Weapons]] (for [[glamour]]) from [[Drake (NPC)|Drake]] even without the original weapon.
Turn in the {{item icon|Astral Nodule}} and {{item icon|Umbral Nodule}} to [[Ardashir]] in [[Azys Lla]] (x7,y11) to complete the quest and receive the Animated weapon.
Awoken weapons have the same model as the basic ones, but with a colored glow.

You will need to complete {{questlink|repfeature|Toughening Up}} for each weapon you wish to upgrade. This quest requires you to complete 10 dungeons with the Animated weapon equipped. You need to have the weapon equipped as you click the exit portal after each dungeon, and the dungeons must be completed in the order given in the quest. High level players can solo the dungeons unsynced by using the Unrestricted Party option. The dungeons you will need to complete are as follows: {{questlink|dungeon|Snowcloak}}, {{questlink|dungeon|Sastasha (Hard)}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Sunken Temple of Qarn (Hard)}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Keeper of the Lake}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Wanderer's Palace (Hard)}}, {{questlink|dungeon|Amdapor Keep (Hard)}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Dusk Vigil}}, {{questlink|dungeon|Sohm Al}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Aery}}, and {{questlink|dungeon|The Vault}}. {{main|Reconditioned Anima Weapons/Quest}}
Reconditioned Anima weapons again have a new model.

Repeatable quest: {{questlink|repfeature|A Dream Fulfilled}}

This step is a bit more involved. For {{questlink|repfeature|A Dream Fulfilled}}, you will need to collect {{item icon|Umbrite}} and {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}. The exact amount will vary due to RNG, but will generally be 57x-60x of each. {{item icon|Umbrite}} can be purchased for {{tomestone|poetics|75}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]] each (4275-4500 total), while {{item icon|Crystal Sand}} will require you to trade with [[Ulan]] in [[Idyllshire]] for certain items. Each trade grants 2 {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}. Most of the trade options are a poor deal, and some require items that are no longer obtainable.

The only recommended options are:
* 5x {{item icon|Blue Crafters' Scrip Token}} ({{scrip|purple crafter|125}} [[Purple Crafters' Scrip]] total) '''=''' 2 {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}
* 5x {{item icon|Blue Gatherers' Scrip Token}} ({{scrip|purple gatherer|125}} [[Purple Gatherers' Scrip]] total) '''=''' 2 {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}
* 5x {{item icon|Superior Enchanted Ink}} and 5x {{item icon|Thavnairian Mist}} ({{tomestone|poetics|225}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]] total) '''=''' 2 {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}.

150 of each item are needed to trade for 60 {{item icon|Crystal Sand}}, at a total cost of either {{tomestone|poetics|6750}}, or 150 [[Blue Crafters' Scrip Token|Blue Crafters']] / [[Blue Gatherers' Scrip Token|Gatherers' Scrip Token]] (3,750 [[Scrips|scrip]]).

Depending on the economy when you are doing this, primal parts might be a very efficient way to obtain the sand. Make sure to check the [[Market Board]]. See [[Reconditioned Anima Weapons/Quest]] for other trade options and further details.

Once you have acquired the items, talk to Ulan to create Refined Crystal Sand and upgrade the stats on your weapon. Once the step is complete, you can turn in the quest and upgrade your weapon.
Sharpened Anima Weapons are, you guessed it, the same as before but glowier.

Repeatable quests: {{questlink|repfeature|Future Proof}} for the weapon, and {{questlink|repfeature|Cut from a Different Cloth}} and {{questlink|repfeature|Seeking Inspiration}} for the materials

For {{questlink|repfeature|Future Proof}} you need to collect and turn in 50 {{item icon|Singing Cluster}}s. You can get these from the following sources:
* Purchase from [[Sundry Splendors]] for {{tomestone|poetics|40}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]] each, or {{tomestone|poetics|2000}} total.
* 1x from the Daily Quest {{questlink|repfeature|Cut from a Different Cloth}}, which requires you to run {{questlink|dutyroulette|Duty Roulette: Level 50/60/70/80 Dungeons}}.
* 18x from the Weekly Quest {{questlink|repfeature|Seeking Inspiration}}, which requires you to run {{questlink|dutyroulette|Duty Roulette: Leveling}} three times. (You can do this even if you have already received the daily bonus for the roulette.)
[[File:FFXIV PUB Patch3.5 69 png jpgcopy.jpg|right|350px]]
{{main|Complete Anima Weapons/Quest}}
Complete Anima weapons change their model yet another time, but this time they already come with their built-in light show.

Repeatable quests: {{questlink|repfeature|Born Again Anima}} and {{questlink|repfeature|Some Assembly Required}}

This is one of the more grindy steps. Pick up the quest {{questlink|repfeature|Born Again Anima}}. First you will need to complete the three dungeons {{questlink|dungeon|Sohm Al (Hard)}}, {{questlink|dungeon|The Great Gubal Library (Hard)}}, and {{questlink|dungeon|The Lost City of Amdapor (Hard)}}. These can be done in any order and unsynced; however, '''you must complete the dungeons as the same job of the Anima Weapon you are currently working for to complete the requirements.'''

Next, you will need to farm aetheric density. This is the main grind. You can earn aetheric density by running a variety of Heavensward activities, including FATEs, dungeons, trials, and raids with your weapon equipped. The most efficient method is to farm {{questlink|raid|Alexander - The Eyes of the Creator (Savage)}} (A9S) unsynced 20 times. This can be done solo with gear at item level 610 or higher, or together with a few max-level teammates. Your progress may be viewed using the {{item icon|Enhanced Anima Glass}}. Talk to the [[Verification Node]] after completing the grind.

You will also need to acquire a {{item icon|Newborn Soulstone}} via {{questlink|repfeature|Some Assembly Required}}, which requires you to collect and turn in 15 {{item icon|Pneumite}}, which can be purchased from [[Sundry Splendors]] for {{tomestone|poetics|100}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]] each ({{tomestone|poetics|1500}} total) or from your Grand Company quartermaster for {{company seal|4000}} [[Company Seal]]s each ({{company seal|60000}} total).

Once these steps are complete, turn in the quest to upgrade your weapon.
Lux Anima Weapons are the final form of this weapon series. They use the same model as the previous ones but now with very showy special effects.

Repeatable quest: {{questlink|repfeature|Best Friends Forever}}

You will need to complete the one-time quests {{questlink|feature|Body and Soul}} and {{questlink|feature|Words of Wisdom}}. Afterwards, for {{questlink|repfeature|Best Friends Forever}} you will need to complete 12 trials, which come in 4 groups. The groups have to completed in a specific order, but trials within a given group can be completed in any order. The trials are as follows:
* Step 1: {{questlink|trial|The Bowl of Embers (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Howling Eye (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Navel (Hard)}}
* Step 2: {{questlink|trial|Thornmarch (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Whorleater (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Striking Tree (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Akh Afah Amphitheatre (Hard)}}
* Step 3: {{questlink|trial|Thok ast Thok (Hard)}}, {{questlink|trial|The Limitless Blue (Hard)}}
* Step 4: {{questlink|trial|Containment Bay S1T7}}, {{questlink|trial|Containment Bay P1T6}}, {{questlink|trial|Containment Bay Z1T9}}

You will also need to purchase 1 bottle of {{item icon|Archaic Enchanted Ink}} from [[Sundry Splendors]] for {{tomestone|poetics|500}} [[Allagan Tomestones of Poetics]].
