{{action icon|Aetheric Mimicry}} (#77) is highly recommended and there are multiple options for what role to mimic. {{status effect|buff|File:aetheric mimicry healer icon.png}} [[Aetheric Mimicry|Aetheric Mimicry: Healer]] is a safe choice as it increases the healing potency of {{action icon|Exuviation}} (#73) and {{action icon|Pom Cure}} (#58). This fight requires a lot of healing, so using it to heal throughout the fight reduces the amount of times one would have to use {{action icon|White Wind}} (#13) with its significant mana cost.

Damage-over-time spells like the {{action icon|Bristle}} (#12) enhanced {{action icon|Song of Torment}} (#9), {{action icon|Breath of Magic}} (#109), and {{action icon|Mortal Flame}} (#121) are useful, as much of this fight involves waiting for Gogo to lose his Mimic passive or is spent dodging his attacks.

* After 3 Thunder III casts, Gogo casts '''Gogo Fire III''' and '''Gogo Blizzard III''' again, so place yourself away from him and the tornadoes, remembering to not take actions while inflicted with {{status effect|debuff|Pyretic}} [[Pyretic]].

To earn the achievement {{item icon|Violets Are Violet}} (and the {{item icon|Friar Rush}} weapon), complete this stage with the following bonuses:
* '''Too Fast, Too Furious:''' Complete the stage in less than the ideal time (6 minutes, 50 seconds)
* In addition, you must complete the battle without receiving a stack of {{status effect|debuff|vulnerability up}} [[Vulnerability Up]] (from avoidable attacks).

This is largely a matter of optimizing your damage output throughout the fight. Bring a lot of burst-damage skills, such as primal spells off the global cooldown.
* Healer mimicry is still recommended, so that healing to full HP requires less MP and fewer GCDs.
* Since there is a lot of downtime due to Mimic and needing to dodge attacks, damage-over-time spells are very effective.
* {{action icon|Cold Fog}} is useful for damage, as White Death can easily be activated by the boss's unavoidable attacks, or even by his auto-attacks.
